This is a Seriously Impressive and Beautiful Emerald and cushion diamonds true mid Victorian 18ct gold ring.

OF ALL the antique diamond cuts, cushions are my favourites because I don't think any diamond shines, reflects light like the cushion cut and this diamond cut is becoming increasingly scarce.

THE central emerald, is without doubt, spectacular colour, a cushion shape and flat emerald cut topped.  Deep bright luscious grass green with natures footprints clearly defined in the large stone. Measures approx. 6mm x 6mm and deep.  Crown prong set sitting slightly proud. 

  An outer  circle of 10 beautifully matched cushion diamonds which are white and clean and small claw set.  I cannot see any inclusions even through my x10 zeiss glass. G/ H colour. Total diamond content approx. 1ct minimum, and I'm sure would weigh more because of the cut. 18ct yellow gold.

 The shoulders are detailed with raised knife edging running to the chanelled shank which is very solid
