Superb HUGE VENETIAN glass bead necklace RARE COLLECTOR

275.00It gives me great pleasure to offer for sale these Original anique Venetian glass beads, in the form of a necklace.

These glass beads are very very large and uniform in size. Larger than marbles, they completely go off my pearl sizing guage, but a tape around them measures them as approx 50mm in diameter. Construction, mavered applique metalic powder art glass.

They are strung on strong fishing wire, as was the way. There are 21 beads in total. Each bead is cupped within a filligree mount and spaced with a small glass bead. The bolt ring is original and secure. The metal is gilded.

This necklace makes a statement and it is rare to find one such as this.

Highly polished with no rubbing or chips. No damage.

The length is 18 inches.
